REGISTRATION
How can i register and pay for the 39th EGOS Colloquium 2023?
To be entitled to register for the 39th EGOS Colloquium in Cagliari, you must hold an EGOS membership that is valid at the time this conference is taking place (July 4–8, 2023). Registration link will be available from your personal area on EGOS website, once the EGOS membership is paid.
Is it necessary to pay the EGOS membership fee in addition to the Colloquium fee?
Yes. Only “active” EGOS members are entitled to participate in the 39th EGOS Colloquium 2023. Therefore, participants need to pay both the EGOS membership fee and the Colloquium fee. The EGOS membership has to be valid at the time the Colloquium (July 6–8, 2023) is taking place. This means that the EGOS membership must have been paid before registering for the Colloquium.

Can I register more than one person from my personal area?
No. Each person wishing to attend the EGOS Colloquium need to register individually.
How can I pay?
Payment can be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) via secure circuit or by bank transfer. The bank transfer data will be sent automatically after registration. In case of payment by bank transfer we ask you to send the receipt by email to: secretariat@egos2023.org.
I have completed my registration and choosen credit card as method of payment, but I don't understand where to insert my credit card details. What should I do?
You have to register again. At the end of the process you will find an icon with all the credit card circuits, click on the icon and you will be redirected to the bank page where you can out the details of your credit card.
When will I receive confirmation?
Confirmation, together with the official invoice, will be sent automatically 2 to 5 days after receipt of payment.
Do I get an invoice?
Invoices are issued after the Colloquium Secretariat has correctly received payment, within 2 to 5 working days, and are uploaded directly to the participants’ personal area. You will receive an automatic email with a link to download the invoice.
I am not Italian, do I still have to pay VAT?
Yes. All services rendered on Italian territory are subject to VAT. VAT is shown separately on the invoice..
I am a convenor of a sub-theme. Do I need to register for the Colloquium?
Yes, convenors need to register for the EGOS Colloquium and pay the registration fee.
I am a professor/phd at an Italian institute and my department will pay the fee directly. What should I do?
In the event that your department pays your registration fee and any services directly, please register and select the required services, and choose bank transfer as the method of payment. Do not make the transfer, but let an administrative of your department contact us, in order to issue the Purchase Order and the invoice with split payment, which will be paid directly from the department.
I am not interested in the hotel booking. How can I proceed with the registration?
Please go ahead without selecting anything in the Hotel Booking session. Please note that you have to accept the policy though.
What are the conditions regarding cancellation and reimbursement?
Participants are entitled to cancel their attendance without stating reasons in accordance with the following provisions:

If cancelled until and including May 31, 2023: The conference fee will be refunded, minus an administrative charge of EUR 50.00.
There will be no refunds for cancellations made as of June 1, 2023 onward.
Cancellation declarations must be sent via e-mail to secretariat@egos2023.org.
When is the deadline for eary bird registration?
The deadline for early bird registration is May 15, 2023.
ACCOMMODATION
How can i book accommodation for the 39th EGOS Colloquium 2023?
On the occasion of the 39th EGOS Colloquium 2023, a large number of rooms at preferential rates in different price categories have been reserved in Cagliari for the period of the Colloquium. We cannot guarantee hotel availability on days other than those of the Colloquium.
You can register and book your accommodation via the same registration form. Alternatively you can find a wide range of b&bs and flats at the page: Registration&Accommodation. If you prefer, you can book a b&b or a flat via booking.com or Airbnb, and through the main booking sites.

I have selected the accommodation, but the amount doesn't show in my final summary. What should I do?
Register again and once you have select the hotel, please insert the date of your arrival and the number of nights of your stay and proceed with your booking.
I have completed my registration and hotel booking, but I have not paid yet. Is the booking confirmed?
Hotel reservations are confirmed only after the payment is received. No rooms are blocked without a payment.
What does DUS room mean?
Dus stands for Double used as single. This means that the room has a double bed and is for single occupancy.
Is breakfast included?
Yes. All the rooms booked through the secretariat come with breakfast and VAT included.
Are there any extra costs?
All the rooms booked through the secretariat do not include City Tax, which has to be paid directly at the hotel at the check out.
How can I cancel my reservation?
For any cancellation until and including April 24, 2023, the total amount will be refunded.
No refunds for any cancellation after April 24, 2023.

How can I change my reservation?
If you have reserved your accommodation through our secretariat, any change of reservation requests must be sent by email to: secretariat@egos2023.org and the secretariat will check the possibility of changing the reservation.
